Photo-a-Day 2014: Day 3

This is a personal project I commence in January where I take a photograph of my children each day.  This exercise stretches me as a photographer, as a mother, and as a journalist.  This is my 3rd year on this project and I hope to continue it as the years pass.

After Adam eats, I usually strip him out of his clothes, which get "fed" just as much as he does!  My boy likes this process of stripping.  I often wonder if he gets so messy that it's a necessity for him to be stripped.  He likes the freedom of just the diaper.  I think the main reason he likes the "freedom" is because I'm still squeezing him into 2T clothes, when he is clearly ready for 3T.  He can't lift his arms over his head all the way, or if he does, his whole belly shows.  The arms of his shirts are too short and the thighs of his pants are practically bursting at the seams.   I just haven't found the time to do the clothes-swap.  I need to add that on my list of things to-do, which seems to be never-ending these days.

After the clothes come off post-meal, he races off into one of his sibling's room to pilfer through toys, clothes, or whatever else gets cast aside, all the while I start the laundry and get ready to dress him.  As I called out to him today to come get dressed, after finally locating the box of 3T clothes, I outright laughed at the get-up he found while exploring in his brother's room.

I have no idea where he found the goggles.  But I'm so glad he did.  Aren't you???
